This is How I Lived to Such a Ripe Old Age

My life's philosophy is simple.
I just put one root in front of the other.
I limber up and exercise whenever the wind blows.
I get my bark washed every time it rains.
I change my leaves every year between fall and spring.
I donate sap to the Green Cross every winter.
I've always been kind to woodpeckers.
And press on flesh, it's been a good life.
